No , your domain can be hosted anywhere. All we need is access to the domains MX record. We can help you with this if your having difficulty.
You will need access to your domain so you can change the MX record . The MX record is the element that tells other Mail Servers where to forward mail once it is sent to somebody@your domain.com.
Typically , straight away but it might take 24-48 hrs for DNS changes to fully propegate.

Service Specific Questions

Once your MX record is changed , your email is routed through our Spam Filtering which filters out spam , viruses and dangerous content . This is then deleted , taged or quarantined for review. Please take a look at our learn more page.

If the primary Spam Filtering server goes down for any reason , there is a secondary server that will take over immediately so you will experience no downtime whatsoever.
This depends on your own preference . You can have spam deleted , tagged (as **SPAM** for example) or quarantined . If you chose to have spam quarantined , you can login at any time and force required email to your inbox.
No , this is not possible as you need control over the domain name.
No not at all . All we need is control over the MX record so this can be done via your domain registrar or your hosting provider, wherever your DNS is hosted .
